Currently, with a dual tuner ZapperBox you can watch live TV on 3 screens using this process:
1. Start recording a show and watch it while it is being recorded
2. Use Mini #1 to watch the live recording.
3. Use Mini #2 to watch using the second tuner.
Technically, a live recording can be served to multiple Minis. The limitations are CPU processing power, Android’s disk access bottleneck, and network bandwidth. With v3.6 we increased the simultaneous recordings that a dual or a single tuner can serve from one to two.
If you want to watch in 6 rooms, you need two dual tuner ZapperBox devices and 4 Minis.
Another word of caution, the audio in all six rooms will not be synchronized. This happens on ATSC 1.0 also. The only way to have perfect sync is to use RF coax distribution to each room.
