Release Notes

Last updated on November 11, 2022 at 4pm CT.

Current software version is v0.12.1 and OS v0920. This is the final beta release. The next release will restart numbering at v1.0. Once you have upgraded to v0.12.1 you will get an email asking you to upgrade to OS v0920. This email may take a few days, we are updating a limited number of devices each day. This is a full OS update and will take 5-7 minutes. Please see a video of the OS update process at this link.

All new units shipped since October 10 already use OS v0920.

Known Issues

  • If a device is placed into standby mode by pressing the red power button on the remote, sometimes HDMI output gets disabled when the power button is pressed to start using the device again. We're working on a fix. A workaround is to not put the device into standby and turn the TV off. If the HDMI output gets disabled, power cycling the box fixes the issue.
  • Sometimes ATSC 1.0 interlaced content like 1080i or 480i starts showing jagged edges. Will be fixed with OS v1104, see below.

Coming Soon

  • An issue with blank video when coming out of standby mode has been fixed for single tuner devices.
  • Search results will be grouped into "Now" and "Later" programs.
  • Support will be added for PSIP data that does not contain service location descriptors (seen in Atlanta)
  • Improved multi-PLP support

OS v1104 (date may change)

  • Fix ATSC 1.0 interlaced content artifacts
